Horn's Loudness Questioned After Fatal Crash

A fatal crash has officials of the National Transportation Safety Board re-enacting events leading up to the accident to determine if a driver could hear the train as it approached the railroad crossing.

About 200 people were onboard the Amtrack train as it headed west when driver Lawrence Valli smashed through the railroad crossing guard rails and into the train, killing Valli and four onboard. Multiple test have been conducted to determine if the driver was able to hear the train's horn from inside the vehicle.

A loud train horn could have prevented this crash. To purchase a loud train horn kit for your vehicle, contact Air Horns of Texas in McAllen at 888-580-1630.
