Installation of Air Horns
Your air horn installation will be time consuming, but well worth the effort. Here are a few tips for installing your air horn.
- Before you begin the installation process, please review the instruction manual for specific guidelines.
- Decide where in the vehicle the air source is the most effective and safe. Make sure you pick an area where your air tank will fit.
- Good common places to put your tank include the flatbed, frame rail, or tool box of your truck. It should not be placed inside the cab of the truck.
- Make sure the hose is long enough to reach the horn.
- Once you have decided where to put the tank, decide where the horn will go.
- You may place the horn directly underneath the engine fan or inside the front bumper.
